"Monday Mice"

I've just submitted my finally-completed book to four different U.S. publishers on September 28, 2026, so we'll see what one of them thinks of it! (At least one?) I'll keep everyone posted on my FaceBook page, and here, so please stay tuned! I'm very excited about becoming a published author, and I've also indicated to these publishers that FOUR MORE books are already "in the works," and none of them will be about any mice at all! (Book #2, "Tuesday Zoo-Day" is nearly all laid-out, lacking only 3 illustrations -- to be painted this next year -- and many poems to be written. I'm having fun with it.) So, here are the "Monday Mice" illustrations I've submitted to the publishers:

From 2021 through June of 2025, I worked slowly but diligently on all the illustrations for my younger sister Bethany Lloyd's children's book, titled: "The Silvery Flute" which she wrote years ago. Bethany is an elementary school-teacher in Blue Springs, MO, and she also happens to be a phenomenal Flutist! We are now ready to publish and sell this sweet book! Stay tuned -- and enjoy this sneak peek at some of the illustrations. (My models were my two granddaughters, Ethne & Cambria Gard, and my sweet 92-year old Dad, Joseph Andrews.)
